According to the National Center for Disaster Prevention (Cenapred) during the last 24 hours the monitoring system of Popocatépetl volcano registered 144 exhalations and 29 explosions of low intensity.
During the night incandescence over the crater was observed.
At the time of this report the volcano was spewing a light emission of steam and gas to the southwest side.
