Mexican horror film “Inquilinos” awarded in the USA

The Mexican horror film "Inquilinos" (The Lodgers) won awards for the Best Film and Best Actress categories in the Something Wicked 2018 Festival , which confers recognition to the best representatives of the movie genre internationally.

Mexican actress Danny Perea received an award for her role as Luzma , a young woman who moves in with her boyfriend to an old neighborhood, only to discover that her neighbors hide terrible secrets related to paranormal phenomena.

The film was directed by Chava Cartas , an accomplished film director from Jalisco , with an original score by Mexican pop star Ximena Sariñana .

The prizes obtained in the third edition of the North American festival are added to the awards won at the Blood Window Showcase of last May .

The film, produced by All About Media , will premiere in Mexico on November 2 .
