The flamboyant Lebanese violinist Ara Malikian will perform for the first time in the National Auditorium in Mexico City on September 11 , to play The Incredible History of Violin , his latest production.

After breaking attendance records in Brazil, Colombia, and Spain , Malikian promotes in Mexico his new studio album with a first-rate show.

It was informed that the prize-winning artist will arrive in Mexico City with a repertoire from the 25 discs he has recorded throughout his career.

Great pieces composed for violin, as well as works by Franco Donatoni, Malcolm Lipkin, Luciano Chailly, Ladislav Kupkovic, Loris Tjeknavorian, Lawrence Roman and Yervand Yernakian are part of his repertoire which stands out for its classical rhythms and rock, flamenco, soul and tango sounds .
