Deputy director of Sahuayo police murdered in Michoacán

Deputy director of Sahuayo police department, Rodolfo Patiño was murdered Saturday night, while driving his vehicle through Lázaro Cárdenas avenue, which connects Jiquilpan’s municipality of Michoacán with the state of Jalisco.

The State’s Office of Public Security (SSP) informed that the police commander of Sahuayo was killed instantly after being attacked in his car by armed civil assailants.

Both federal and state authorities are already in search of the crime perpetrators, while police patrols surveillance and inspection filters, in the area of the crime scene, are currently underway.
