Mexico to host Taekwondo Grand Prix Final in 2020

The World Taekwondo Federation , which governs this sport at the global scale, confirmed that Mexico will host the Grand Prix Final in 2020 , an event in which the places for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games will be defined.

The Mexican Taekwondo Federation (FMTKD) confirmed the announcement through a press release and informed that Cancun and Monterrey were possible venues for the world-class event.

This will be the second time that Mexico hosts the Grand Prix Final. Last time was in 2015, in the city of Puebla. The event defined the athletes’ places for the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
