Mexican chef Daniela Soto-Innes wins World’s Best Female Chef Award

Mexican chef Daniela Soto-Innes

has become the youngest recipient of the elit™ Vodka World's Best Female Chef Award at age 28.

She received the news that she has been voted the World’s Best Female Chef in Tulum, Mexico, celebrating her engagement to fellow chef Blaine Wetzel .

Soto-Innes grew up in Mexico City and recounts in an interview for that her grandmother taught her that food tastes better if you put love and joy into it .

“You have to be happy when you’re making a mole or tamales –otherwise they won’t turn out,” she says.

In 2016, she won a Rising Star Award from the James Beard Foundation , and it is fair to say that her star is on the rise.
