Francisco Orihuela Ramirez, Paco, has already envisioned his future: to open a food chain called “Paco’s pasties”.

“The marketer of the future” has given more than twenty interviews for both national and international media since he was filmed selling pasties five days ago in Acapulco, Guerrero.

The film, featured in You Tube, gained him fans of the likes of Arturo Elías Ayub, Director of Strategic Allegiances of América Móvil and son-in-law to business tycoon Carlos Slim, who offered to help his family with his education and was politely turned down by both Paco and his parents, who stated that they appreciated the support but that they already make sure Paco is able to pursue his dreams within their own means.

For his part, Paco stated that he “will accept investment proposals for now”, since he aims to build a food chain for the distribution of pasties in the future: “I sold nine pasties to Mr. Ayub, who told me he would give me a book written in English which is intended for university students but that I would easily understand”.

Paco’s selling style is unique and eloquent, he says: “I listen to my elders and I like to take advice from them. Maths is my favorite subject [..] and I know that to be successful you have to take one step at a time”.

Paco’s family moved to Acapulco, from Mexico City, two years ago and he receives homeschooling ever since “because this is a more feasible system considering the insecurity lived in Acapulco port these days”, Paco’s father noted.

Paco is famous for selling pasties in Acapulco seashore in seven languages, which he learned from his father, a journalist and a writer, while his mother, a TV producer, completes the rest of his education: “Paco is an entrepreneur, he is charismatic and witty”.

Paco considers himself as a patient and optimist person; he has recently attended the state’s governor results report as a special guest.

When asked to sell a pasty for us he says: “I know that you have a great palate since being next to a McDonald’s has made you hungry, I have cheese and jam pasties as well as of diet shark. You can buy an order of three pasties for $45 pesos, but the sauce and the napkins are on the house. ¡I may lose money but I will definitely earn a client!”
