The Federal Police reported this Saturday on the continuity of the road blocks in the states of Oaxaca and Chiapas, as well as general protests by members and supporters of the dissident National Education Workers Coordination.

In Oaxaca, the locals are blocking the Buenavista-Tuxtepec road, while other groups are blocking the Yacudaa-Pinotepa and Pinotepa Nacional-Santa Cruz roads.

In the southern state of Chiapas, there is another blockade over the Tuxtla-Gutiérrez-Ciudad Cuauhtémoc highway, in San Cristóbal de las Casas and over the Chiapa de Corzo-San Cristóbal de las Casas road.

The dissidents and their sympathizers are also protesting over the Villahermosa-Escárcega highway.

Just yesterday, the Minister of the Interior, Miguel Ángel Osorio Chong, presented an ultimatum to the dissidents, after weeks of blockades in Oaxaca and Chiapas.
