De acuerdo con lo encontrado, investigadores del INAH determinaron que el Huei Tzompantli (“hilera o muro de cráneos”) fue construido en tres momentos, entre 1486 y 1502. De los 119 cráneos, la mayoría son de hombres, pero también hay de mujeres y algunos de niños
