Not only is this a weekend to spend with the family for the festivity but also because it's the debut of Mexico in the World Cup – the perfect pretext to get everyone together.

It's never late to give something to your father, whether it is something he needs, wants, or uses a lot. So, here we present to you the items dads spend more money on per year, according to the information of firm Kantar Worldpanel.

According to their study, fathers buy, on average , six items of clothing a year, mainly underwear, but they also buy ties, dress shirts, and polo shirts.

Fathers spend 43% of their budget on shirts, jackets, or t-shirts. This same percentage goes to jeans, shorts, and Bermuda shorts while only 3% they spend on formal clothes like ties or suits.

Jeans

are the items fathers buy the most, since they spend 27% of their budget on them, followed by shirts, with 12%.

If your father doesn't seem to be in need of a new pair of jeans or a shirt, then you can also go for shoes .

The analysis of the study points out that men go to a shoe store twice a year and each time they only purchase one pair of shoes which are usually tennis shoes, with an average cost of MXN$ 550 per pair.

On average, men spend MXN$ 317 on clothes per trip to a clothing store and regularly purchase their items at malls.

Just remember it's better to plan ahead any purchases because if you leave a gift for last, then chances are you won't be able to find what you're looking for.
