Pixar in Concert is coming to Mexico City

Next April , the world famous show Pixar in Concert will arrive in Mexico City’s National Auditory , gathering iconic melodies of some of the animation studio’s most famous productions, such as The Incredibles, Inside Out, Finding Nemo, Toy Story, Wall-E, A Bug’s Life, Ratatouille, and Monsters, Inc . And the best of all is that Pixar’s greatest hits will be performed by Mexico’s National Symphony Orchestra !

The show will be held on April 13, with a 120 minute duration . “An important part of this show is that we can teach children how an orchestra works and how Pixar can tell a story through music. The music pieces will be accompanied by video clips that are intended to provide a summary of the movie that is being represented,” stated Laura González, senior manager of Live Entertainment & Special Events in a press conference.

The proceeds will go to Mexico’s ORT Organization , a non-profit dedicated to providing support and education for some of the country’s most marginalized sectors.

“This will be a high quality show that is sure to capture the public’s attention and immerse the listener into the movies referenced,” stated Jaime Salinas, CEO of ORT Mexico .
