FILUX 2017: International Light Festival

Brings art closer to the inhabitants of Mexico City

From November 16 to 19 , the International Light Festival ( FILUX ) will take place in Mexico City with 21 works of art , including monumental projections, sculptures, colorful and fun creations made by students, mapping, light sculptures, installations, architectural lighting, paths of light, candles, film, and music.

At 6:00 pm , the works will be lit so that visitors can take a free tour starting from the Historic Center to the Tamayo Museum .

In 2013 , the first International Light Festival of the continent took place in Mexico City. It was carried out by Filux Lab in alliance with several institutions and companies.

Filux is a space for the promotion and exhibition of the work of art made with the language of light, linking both local and international artists and bringing art closer to the inhabitants of Mexico City.

This year, more than half of the contents will be made by Mexican artists .
