Kimberly-Clark de México announced an agreement to buy 50% of 4e, a liquid soap producer.
The transaction, for an undisclosed amount, is expected to close in the second half of 2016 subject to necessary regulatory approvals, the company said in a press release.
It added that its addition to KCM's portfolio "is in line with the strategy to enter into new branded consumer products categories and complements the Kleenex and Escudo soap business."
