Mexican singer-songwriter Juan Gabriel made his own Spanish version of Creendence Clearwater Revival's “Have You Ever Seen the Rain?” and released it under the title “Gracias al Sol.”

Through the website "Billboard", the bilingual album Quiero Creedence, a Latin tribute to the CCR, was announced. It is set for release by Concord Picante on July 29.

“It’s my favorite CCR song, and I didn’t mess with it—just added a couple small mariachi guitars, vihuelas, to give it a little funky feeling,” Juan Gabriel’s producer, Gustavo Farías said. “There are a couple nice violin lines, too, so there’s a little of Juan Gabriel’s personality and the essence of Creedence.”
