Officer in topless photo inside a police car apologizes

Nidia García, a police officer that was photographed topless inside a police car, described her decision as an “immoral act” and apologized to the Ministry of Security and the government of General Escobedo, Nuevo León.





On Facebook García explained that she would never share such a photo, and added that she was outraged that the image was shared.

“I am outraged at the damge caused by this photo to my two daughters, husband, parents, brothers and all my family,” she wrote.

She also admitted that it was a mistake to let someone photograph her like that on her working hours and while wearing the uniform.

“I hope people can forget about this because, as humans, we all make mistakes,” García added.

The officer, that was suspended while she is investigated for infringing the rules of procedure, explained that fake profiles have been created on Facebook with her name.
