Nine men found dead in apparent drug house in Monterrey

State prosecutor Roberto Flores says authorities responded to a call early Sunday and found the victims inside. Two appeared to have been stabbed and the other seven strangled.

Mexican authorities say nine men have been found bound and dead inside a home in a suburb of the northern city of Monterrey.





Nuevo León state Gov. Jaime Rodríguez Calderón said Sunday that the initial investigation suggests the house in the Apodaca suburb was used for drug consumption and added on Twitter that the Attorney General's Office will continue with the investigation.

The bodies were in a bathroom and another room. Flores says four have been identified.
