Toddler with bullet wound in Mexico City

A three-year-old was taken to a children hospital aboard a helicopter, after receiving a bullet in the head in undisclosed circumstances.
According to preliminary reports, the girl was attacked in the district of Tlahuac, east Mexico City. A woman, presumably her mother, took her to a local hospital for attention and later disappeared.
After it was deemed necessary to provide her with more specialized attention, the girl was airlifted to the Legaria Children Hospital.
