New video of riot at Topo Chico prison released
The video was presented as evidence by the legal defense team of the former officials charged with homicide and abuse of authority.

The legal defense team of former director of Topo Chico prison Gregoria Salazar Robles and former head of the prison administration agency Jesús Fernando Domínguez Jaramillo, released a video of the riot that left 49 dead inmates.
The video was presented as part of the evidence on charges of homicide and abuse of authority, for which the former officials face trial and preventive detention. The released video shows at least two different angles from the courtyard captured by external cameras.
According to State Attorney Roberto Flores, 48 inmates were beaten to death, one was shot dead. Five of the victims were also burned.
