Forty-seven buses caught fire in Villahermosa, Tabasco, affecting over 20,000 users of public transportation.
Interviewed on scene, Laires Carrera, director of Transbus, said that none of the units had damage insurance and that loses will amount to 40 million pesos (US$2.39 million).
The fire started around 4:00 a.m. at a warehouse used as a parking lot on Miguel Hidalgo neighborhood.
