Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto expressed that there are some really pessimistic points of view in the country, which are incapable of recognizing the advancements obtained by his administration.

Peña Nieto expressed that he wants to point out that Mexico is on the right track and there are encouraging figures regarding inflation, job creation and consumption.

He added that it is true that the country is not growing as fast as he would like it, but that is a consequence of the international situation. At the same time, he compared favorably the job creation situation during this mandate in comparison to the previous two.

He added that in the period between 2000 and 2006 more than 500,000 jobs were lost, and in the previous mandate 62,000 were lost. In the current government, according to data from the Mexican Institute of Social Security, a million jobs have been created.

"There are some who put this objective under doubt. There are points of view which are somehow pessimistic about where we are. Sometimes it would be like that they don't want to recognize the improvements, the advancements obtained and how we are on a route that will allow us to take Mexico to better conditions," expressed the President.

Peña Nieto arrived at the State of Mexico to inaugurate traffic bridges and patrol cars and said that security will not be affected by the budget plan presented a few days ago the Chamber of Representatives.
