Aeroméxico bans hunting trophy shipments

The decision comes days after a U.S. dentist illegally killed "Cecil" the lion in Zimbabwe.

Aeroméxico joined Delta, United and American Airlines, which announced that they will no longer transport lion, rhinoceros, leopard, elephant or buffalo remains.

The decision comes days after a U.S. dentist illegally killed "Cecil" the lion in Zimbabwe.

The Mexican airline posted a photo of lion cubs on Twitter and expressed its rejection.

"We ban the transport of hunting trophies on our routes," reads the tweet.
