Toddler killed by dogs in Mexico

The Office of the State Attorney reported that it opened an investigation on the death of a toddler after an attack by two pitbulls in the Arboledas de San Hilarión neighborhood.

According to the municipal police, at 2:00 p.m. it received a report on an attack by dogs against a boy aged one year and nine months.

The child, identified as Matías, was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The boy presented extensive injuries on the face, neck and shoulder, according to a preliminary report.
