Dissident teachers take over Reforma avenue

Some 300 teachers from the National Education Workers Coordination (CNTE) took on main Reforma Avenue in order to protest against the education reform, walking to the premises of the Interior Ministry.

A group is walking from nearby Monument of the Revolution, where representatives from different areas arrived in the morning.

Officers from the Department of Public Security of Mexico City are guarding the protesters.
