Activist fights to keep centennial trees alive

Many have been the complaints and protests filed to the organism in charge of protecting the environment in Mexico, the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources (SEMARNAT), since logging, civil protection, public works and forestry development have taken down both young and ancient trees throughout the country's landscape.
