The government dismisses the increase in kidnappings

It seems like the federal government isn't worried about the kidnappings registered in Mexico . Despite the 24% increase in kidnappings , the National Anti-Kidnapping Coordination ( Conase ), has been on a comatose state since Patricia Bugarín Gutiérrez left the organization to become the Security Undersecretary. So far, the Conase, an independent body from the Interior Ministry, which is in charge of coordinating the different public security institutions in the country, in order to fight and eradicate kidnapping , only has one person in its office. Maybe the Interior Ministry has other numbers and that is why it isn't worried about the lack of coordination?

Nevertheless, we've been told that the call to transform the PRD into a new party was heard by politicians who abandoned the party, which is actually the same party and has the same leaders. The politicians who returned to the party include René Arce, Ruth Zavaleta , Ricardo Pascoe , and Ciro Mayén. The truth is there was no place for them at Morena so they had to return to the PRD , which needs as many members as it can get.

Miguel Ángel Mancera, the PRD coordinator in the Senate

, hasn't become a party member yet. He happily attended an event, where the party and some organizations announced they will collaborate in an initiative called Future 21. Nevertheless, the former Mexico City mayor still refuses to officially join the party and says that he will always defend the party as a citizen . So, while members come and go, the Senators' leader has decided to stay outside the political party .
