1968: Tlatelolco massacre, a play

The play is part of the M68 project, which looks to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the 1968 students' movement

The Salón de la Danza (Dance room) from the University Culture Center, UNAM , will present the play “ An October night that won't be forgotten” (Una noche de octubre que no se olvida) , that commemorates the massacre that took place on October 2, 1968 , when countless students were murdered by the Mexican army at the Plaza de las Tres Culturas , in Tlatelolco .

The play was directed by Graciela Henríquez and Elisa Lipkau , and it's part of the M68 project, through which they are looking to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the 1968 students' movement.

is interpreted by 15 different actresses and actors and uses projections, photographs, and dancers. It uses music by Bob Dylan , Angélica María, and Alberto Vázquez.

In a statement, Henríquez explained that the play presents a fictional representation based on true facts.

The presentations will be on September 28 to 30 . Free entrance.
