Mexico will attend a meeting with OPEC member countries in Vienna on December 10, according to Mexico's Energy Minister, Joaquín Coldwell.
According to OPEC's Secretary General, Mohammed Sanusi Barkindo, OPEC will meet with non-member countries in the hopes of reaching an agreement to slash global production of crude oil, in the first meeting of its kind since 2002.
Mexico is not a member of OPEC.
