Puerto Rican singer song-writer, Ricky Martin, greeted his Mexican fans yesterday in the National Auditorium as part of the first date of his World Tour, “Good evening Mexico, we are going to fly tonight. My mission today is to make you sing so loud that you leave being hoarse and sweating of so much dancing. We are going to have a great time”.
Wearing a black tie and suit, Martin thrilled the audience with his powerful and energetic performance filled with unmistakable riffs, Latin rhythms and showing that he can still dance and put on a show with the same vitality and sensuality that he did twenty years ago.

During his concert, Martin made present his commitment against human trafficking and child slavery by displaying sings which read “Human trafficking and slavery have no place in this world”, while images of children in conditions of poverty were shown.
He also took the opportunity to send a message of unity for the Latino community: “… we can send positive messages of love. It is necessary that we send all of our love to that northern neighbor, who is in real need of it. It is our mission to give them of our love and passion”.
Signature themes of Martin were chanted by the public, accompanied by memorable dance performances that gave testimony of the singer’s passion for music and for his Mexican fans.
