María Espinoza wins silver in women's 67kg Taekwondo at Olympics

She became the first Mexican female athlete to earn medals in three different Olympic Games.

María del Rosario Espinoza won the silver medal in the women's 67kg Taekwondo at the Olympic Games in Rio.





Espinoza, from Guasave, Sinaloa, was defeated by Chinese Shuyin Zheng 5-1.

The Mexican taekwondist won gold medal in Beijing 2008 and silver in London 2012.
