Rain causes flooding south of Mexico City

The rain which pelted Mexico City caused a series of floods in different areas of the Metropolis, according to the Command, Control, Data, and Communications Center.

The system also reported on its Twitter account, @ciudad_segura, that the vehicular traffic was deeply affected in the posh area of Santa Fe.

The Webcams de México portal reported massive floods in the areas of Interlomas and Chamapa Lechería, with some users of social networks publishing video of cars covered by the waters, and some of them even floating.
