Pollution alert in Mexico City ... yet again

According to the atmospheric monitoring agency of Mexico City, the Valley of Mexico is currently under Phase I of the pollution contingency program due to the fact that the air quality has exceeded the tolerable 150 points in various locations of Mexico City.

So far, just the district of Atizapan de Zaragoza presents a more or less tolerable air quality.

The pollution levels have also been complicated by the hot weather in the Valley of Mexico, almost 86 Fahrenheit, and the absence of wind.

Consequently, the private vehicular traffic will be restricted, perhaps around two million cars, from the area of Mexico City.
