Dollar reaches $17.50 pesos

The U.S. dollar was traded this afternoon at $17.50 pesos in Mexican banks, three cents above Tuesday's close.

Wholesale, the greenback is quoted in Banamex at $16.90 pesos.

During the day, the U.S. currency reached up to $17.52.

The Bank of Mexico (Banxico) fixed the exchange rate $16.9859 pesos, with the peso jumping 11 cents in regards of the dollar.
