Flooding reported in Mexico City

Cars are stranded after the heavy rains reported in the Mexican metropolis.

The Emergency Attention and Protection of Citizens Center of Mexico City (CAEPCCM) reported at least three floods, with cars left stranded among the waters covering the roads of the massive metropolis.

Through his Twitter account, the agency indicated that the high levels of water affect two lanes of the extreme right of the San Jerónimo road, in the area of Potrerillos.

Luis Cabrera also presents damage because of the high level of water, covering three lanes in the San Jerónimo Aculco and San Jerónimo Lídice neighborhoods.

In the Picacho Ajusco Road and Periférico, in the Jardínes de la Montaña neighborhood, in the district of Tlalpan, the authorities have already rescued the cars caught in the flood, but the problem continues.

The report also mentions hail in Magdalena Contreras district; heavy rain in Iztacalco and Alvaro Obregón; moderate in Tlalpan and Coyoacán; as well as a light precipitation in the south, north and west of the city.
