Thousands of Formula 1 fans arrived since the early morning to the central esplanade of El Zócalo in Mexico City just to have a chance to see one of those fast cars shooting off on the streets.

The colors of Ferrari, Redbull, Force India and various other teams served as a frame on which Australian Daniel Ricciardo and Mexican Carlos Sáinz performed their art behind the wheel.

The attendees were also able to enjoy various attractions such as simulators, exhibitions, go-karts and toy racing tracks.

The exhibition represented the beginning of a series of events for the Grand Prix of Mexico, scheduled for November 1 at the track of the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez.
