En la última década se han descubierto 181 narcotúneles en la frontera entre México y Estados Unidos
De éstos, más de 150 se localizan en los límites entre California y Baja California, y 56 de ellos dentro del área que comprende el condado de San Diego y la franja ubicada entre las ciudades de Tijuana y Mexicali, en Baja California, revela un informe de la Oficina de Control de Inmigración y Aduanas (ICE) en San Diego.
