Earlier this month, the Super Bowl champion New England Patriots traveled to Mexico City to play the Oakland Raiders .

The game at the Azteca Stadium on Sunday, November 19 will mark the third time the National Football Association ( NFL ) has visited Mexico City during the regular season after games in 2005 and last year.

On Twitter, NFL México wrote in Spanish: "We are ready, everything is ready, and you?"

Tom Brady

, the star of the New England Patriots, said he looks forward to tomorrow's game against the Raiders in Mexico City.

“I’m excited about it. It’s going to be a lot of fun. I’ve never been to Mexico City. It’s nice that it’s there. When the schedule comes out you kind of figure out where you’re playing. It’s been the kind of game you look forward to and we’re playing against a really good football team in a really cool environment,” said the quarterback.

To get ready for the greater heights of Mexico City, the Pats stayed in Colorado for a week to acclimate to the high altitude .

Brady hopes that there will be thousands of fans supporting his team. “They were pretty into it last year, I remember watching [the game] and I watched a little bit of it this week just to kind of get a feel for the atmosphere,” he said regarding the fan base . “They’re cheering loud the whole game. And it seems like there’s a lot of Raiders fans. Hopefully, there will be a lot of Patriots fans, too. It’ll be really cool.”

Wide receiver Danny Amendola is excited as well: “I’m just ready to go and play. I’ve been looking forward to this game a long time,” he said. “We’re playing a great team. We’ve had a good week of preparation. There’s a lot of football love in Mexico City and they’re really enthusiastic. They’re amped up, they’re ready for the NFL to get down there and we’re all excited, too. So, it’s going to be a fun week.”

The 32 NFL teams each play 16 games over 17 weeks in the regular season, which runs from September 7 until December 31.

The 52nd Super Bowl will be held on February 4 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
