On Thursday, Prime Minister of Norway, Erna Solberg arrived in Mexico on an official visit seeking to promote a deeper cooperation for both nations.

On Twitter, Mexico's President Enrique Peña Nieto wrote in Spanish: "Erna Solberg's visit to Mexico will allow both the opening of new spaces of dialogue and the promotion of a deeper cooperation towards the future."

Migration, energy, climate, and trade are key points that both leaders will be discussing during the official visit to further strengthen Mexico-Norway relations.

Moreover, the Joint Mexico-Norway Declaration, the Memorandum of Understanding on Economic Cooperation between the Employers' Confederation of the Mexican Republic (COPARMEX) and the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise (NHO), and the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in Fisheries and Aquaculture between Mexico's Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Rural Development, Fisheries and Feeding (SAGARPA) and the Norwegian Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries were signed at the National Palace.

The official visit of Norwegian PM Erna Solberg will be held from April 12 to April 13.
