The Embassy of Egypt in Mexico announced the contest "Egypt in the Eyes of the Children of the World" to provide Mexican children with the opportunity to show their conception of Egypt.

Girls, boys, and teenagers aged 4 to 18 years old are able to participate in the contest by portraying Egyptian history or any social, political or historical aspect of the country.

The contest is divided into three categories, free themed drawing using any technique, but pencil, photography portraying Egyptian architecture, nature or everyday life, and hand-made toys inspired by Egyptian folklore. Moreover, there is a special category for people with disabilities opened worldwide.

In Mexico City, contestants must deliver their works to the offices of the Cultural Diffusion Office of the Federal Ministry of Culture prior to May 1, 2018.
