James Comey testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee

Former FBI Director testifies before the Intelligence Committee
Washington, DC
-A +A

This morning, former FBI Director, James Comey, is giving open testimony about his firing, President Trump, the Russian investigation and Clinton's emails.
He has been providing different concepts like the fact that he simply does not buy the reasons he was given for his firing and that he believes he was removed from his position because of the Russian investigation.

He also expressed that the comments of President Trump saying that the FBI was in disarray were a complete lie. He added that he knows it will be his word against Trump´s and that the nature of the FBI requires it not to be subject of political consideration.
When asked about his thoughts on the outcome of the investigation once it is finalized, he said he couldn't answer that in an open setting, which was a recurrent answer during his deposition.

President Trump has not tweeted during the session.
