A sports parade is taking place in Mexico City to commemorate the 106th anniversary of the Mexican Revolution, where soccer players, swimmers, wrestlers and martial arts practitioners, among others, march from Jesus García avenue in Buenavista to the Revolution’s Monument.

Folkloric performance and “charrería” groups made up of children, teenagers and adults also march in the parade which commemorates the beginning of the Mexican Revolution on November 20, 1910.

The Heroic Fire Brigade and Motorcycle Riders from the Office of Public Security have merged into this year’s celebration.
