Interpol officers in Mexico arrested Humberto René Mandujano-Eudave, who was on the run from an extradition order to the United States.
René Mandujano is linked to Manuel Avendaño "El Meño", who was arrested last week at the International Airport of Mexico City; both are considered leaders of the Sinaloa Cartel.
According to the authorities, the drug dealer was arrested in the northern state of Sinaloa and is accused of crimes against health.
Humberto René Mandujano-Eudave is subject of an extradition order issued by the Superior Court of the U.S. District of Columbia on June 10, 2016.
