The Interdisciplinary Group of Independent Experts (GIEI) of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights arrived at the main premises of the Office of the Attorney General (PGR) to hold a meeting with the current head of the agency, Arely Gómez Gónzalez.

Alejandro Valencia Villa, Francisco Cox and Carlos Martín Beristaín are meeting with Gómez González in her office.

This meeting is previous to the one between President Enrique Peña Nieto and the parents of the teachers in training from Ayotzinapa, who disappeared almost a year ago in the city of Iguala, Guerrero.

According to human rights advocate Vidulfo Rosales, the meeting with Peña Nieto could be held next week.

This is the eighth meeting between the holder of the PGR and the group of experts of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights.
