Aeroméxico joined Delta, United and American Airlines, which announced that they will no longer transport lion, rhinoceros, leopard, elephant or buffalo remains.

The decision comes days after a U.S. dentist illegally killed "Cecil" the lion in Zimbabwe.

The Mexican airline posted a photo of lion cubs on Twitter and expressed its rejection.

"We ban the transport of hunting trophies on our routes," reads the tweet.
