A través de 598 fichas podemos darnos una idea de las difíciles condiciones de vida de estas mujeres. La mayoría habían sido costureras, lavanderas, empleadas domésticas o tortilleras. Pocas pasaban de los 30 años. La mayoría estaba en sus 20, pero también abundaban mujeres de entre 15 y 18 años. Incluso había prostitutas de 14 años.
