The Office of the Attorney General reported on the different investigations related to the disappearance in Iguala of the 43 students from the teachers school of Ayotzinapa, almost three years ago.
Attorney General Arely Gómez González met with the parents of the victims and expressed the commitment of the authorities in providing a final resolution to the disappearance of the students between September 26 and 27, 2014, in that city of the state of Guerrero.
She also reported on the investigations conducted after the arrest of people involved in the case, like Hugo Benítez Palacios, "El Tilo," presumed killer of student Julio César Mondragón Fontes.
Gómez González was accompanied by Eber Omar Betanzos Torres, Assistant Attorney for Crime Prevention and Community Servies; Alfredo Higuera Bernal, head of the Iguala case investigations, and other officers.
