Two injured for frag grenade in Mexico

At least two people were injured in the explosion of a probable fragmentation grenade next to the offices of the Federal Judiciary in the city of Matamoros, Tamaulipas.

Police sources reported that the incident occurred approximately at 5:00 p.m.

The wounded were transferred to the International Medical Center of the border city for emergency treatment.

Four hours before the explosion, personnel from the Ministry of Defense removed another explosive device from the parking lot of a sports center in the same city.

The first artifact did not explode and was located thanks to a report.
