Drop in crude oil prices likely to affect Mexican economy in 2019
The U.S. government has anticipated a drop in crude oil prices of nearly USD$11 per barrel next year
PEMEX: Six new fields to increase Mexico’s crude oil production
According to PEMEX, the new oil fields will revert the downward trend of domestic oil production
However, it is expected that Pemex "will meet its annual goal of 1,944,000 bpd on average"
Declining local extraction will force the country to buy crude oil from the United States for the following year
Crude oil production last month averaged 2.279 million barrels per day (bpd), up 0.4 percent from September.
