The card “Culture is worth it!” (La Cultura ¡Vale!) will be available on October 25. This card offers discounts for concerts, plays, dance shows, exhibitions, books, museums, and archeological sites managed by the Culture Ministry (SC).

According to information from the Culture Ministry, the card can be used in 400 different locations all over the country. Some of the museums and cultural centers you can visit for less are the Palace of Fine Arts (Palacio de Bellas Artes); The National Center of Arts (Centro Nacional de las Artes); theaters from the Centro Cultural del Bosque, a cultural center in the Bosque de Chapultepec; the National Film Archive (Cineteca Nacional); museums managed by the National Fine Arts Institute; archeological sites and museums managed by the National Anthropology and History Institute (INAH).

Also, you can use it to get discounts in other cities, for example, in theaters in Oaxaca, Guadalajara, and Tijuana.

The users can also get discounts in bookstores from the Librerías Educal chain; stores, guided tours, and cultural tours organized by the INAH.

The card is free and there are two ways of acquiring it: through their website, or in libraries.
