Barbosa shows off

Miguel Barbosa just launched his campaign to become the next Puebla Governor, with an advantage of 3 to 1 in the polls. He was supported by Morena's national leader Yeidckol Polevnsky, lawmaker Mario Delgado, and the Governor of Tabasco, Adán López Hernández. There is a huge contrast with the second contestant in the race, Enrique Cárdenas, who was sort of abandoned by the leaders of the PAN, PRD, and MC. The national PRI leader also didn't accompany Alberto Jiménez, who admitted he was in third place. Did they already give up?

Morena is put to the test

Now that Puebla and Baja California are at stake, Morena knows that the main risk isn't the opposition, but the party itself. We've been told that Yeidckol Polevnsky is trying to solve everything, especially because many of the current Morena members began their careers at the PRD and PRI; there could be some that could try to tempt them. We've been told that this is no easy task for her.

The only rebel standing

We've been that many PAN members celebrated the verdict issued by the Electoral Tribunal about the expulsion of Ernesto Cordero because they considered he belong more to the PRI than to the PAN. The only “rebel” left at the PAN is Roberto Gil, who is now keeping a low profile but he is still attacking Madero and Anaya.

Just a scratch

Yesterday, during his visit to Ciudad Valles in San Luis Potosí and Ciudad Madero in Tamaulipas, President López Obrador didn't mention the car accident. In Aquismón, he said it was only a “scratch” but a picture from a local newspaper show that the truck was damaged. Despite this, the President has said that he won't stop traveling throughout the country by car.
