People of all ages gathered earlier today in the square of Revolución’s Monument to assemble the human shaped letters that represent Mexico City’s abbreviation: CDMX, as part of the Mexico City Flashmob event, which is organized by the company Anima Inc., in collaboration with the Mixed Fund of Tourism Development of the city.

Alejandra González, a Flashmob organizer, stated that more than a 1000 people were expected to participate in the three activities that have been programmed for this Sunday.

The first of three activities took place today’s morning in Revolución’s Monument, where more than five hundred people, wearing pink and white t-shirts, assembled Mexico City’s abbreviation with human letters, while a panoramic photo was taken from the skies.

There is one more panoramic photo shoot taking place at the moment in the main square of the Fine Arts Palace; a third event will follow, in which twenty-one acrobats will descend from iconic Latino Tower in the heart of downtown Mexico City.
